Well it seems someone has already quoted me on the "Out In The Park" imagery. I'd also really like to see "Mary" turned into a video. I picture the whole thing in a faded yellow (like pages of an ancient history) I picture Sarah in a black 40's swing dress with a black viel over her head at the beginning.. she'd be in France looking out on a tempered sea (it would be very dramatic) it would then transcend to her on a rickety old fighter plane, her hands pressed against the window.. her heart pounding as she writes the name "Mary" in warm breath on the window. Then ZAP it would change to her saying goodbye to her lover fair (all of this like a film grain memory), as she watches her lover go off to war. Then the video would slice between his valiant bravery and her own bravery keeping up the house hold and running away from a torrent of bright and sparkling bombs (a raid) as the lines "stay up airplane" hit.. then it snaps back to her in the airplane and it is shaking and her wits are shattered and holding a piece of jewelry tight to her chest.. and I also see a dragon fly somewhere always around her.... yeah.. that's what I see.

` I wanna be the bluebird singing
Singing to the roses in her yard
Roses in her yard her father grew for her
It's been raining like Tennessee honey
So long I got too heavy to fly
Ain't no bluebird ever gets too heavy to sing `

Hmm i like that concept for Mary.... but I think my vision of the song is more the story of her grandparents on the boat that she often recounts before playing it... climbing on amongst a huge clamour of noise and fanfare... the LONG journey over (abbreviated somehow of course)... various adventures ensure

oooh, I like both, although I pictured mostly that "fateful boat-trip"

"I don't need you to buy me dinner. I just need you to love me."
