HOLA! It's been a while.. but I have been lurking Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone has any information about "Hooligans"? I have a little clip of her singing it and I am completely enrapt with the song. What do you guys think of it? Also, I was wondering.. does anyone have any full length versions of it? Do you guys think it'll make it on the next ablumn? What songs are you guys hoping make it to the new album? (besides "Count Me Out"... cause that HAS to be on it ). HI, to everyone as well!
` I wanna be the bluebird singing Singing to the roses in her yard Roses in her yard her father grew for her It's been raining like Tennessee honey So long I got too heavy to fly Ain't no bluebird ever gets too heavy to sing `
LOL. Hooligans (and Count Me Out) were written for Day One, so I would imagine they're not going to make it any further. THe only place I know of that she performed this was Peterborough, check that thread for more info, but I believe she told us it was written for a full horn section and very thickly orchestrated and it just didn't make teh Day One cut......
~ If this is the car, that I must drive to the job, that I must keep for the house, and a man I don't love; count me out. ~
During her month long stay in L.A., she played "Hooligans" at one of the eight shows she did. She mentioned it was a new song, written about the same idea of what is noble in her life and about her choices in friends.
