That was a great interview!
It was recorded in an Ottawa club.

It was pretty fun to listen to Alan have Sarah walk through meeting a new piano. Sarah played a few bars and gave her thoughts. Her piano posture is normally quite wild.

They did add more info on all the subjects that Alan mentioned.
A bit more of an outline to Boy Wonder in which I don't think was known before.

California makes sense now. Sheilding yourself with a car, so true.
Everytime I hear Mary even after Sarah descirbed to be about her Grandmother it draws my mind to the virgin Mary.

There was a contest at the end to win 1/5 Day One albums.

It would be nice to see a full transcript but it looks like those will need to be orded, same as tapes.

Oh darn, I missed it

I'm hoping for a repeat. CBC radio 1 does that for some of their programs in the summer i believe. Summer's so far away too...

...on Bandwidth, Saturday afternoon on CBC Radio One...
at 5 p.m.... I believe it's on in the latter half of the show. Matthew Crosier very graciously gave up a half-hour of his show to replay my interview with Sarah.

The response to the interview was unbelievable... 163 calls/emails... Thanks if anyone on this list was among those writing/calling in. We're also going to replay it on Ontario Today close to Christmas time.

We would love to post the audio of the interview on our website, but unfortunately we're not legally allowed to post anything containing artists' music (alas).

Thanks to everyone for the great compliments... it was a blast to do!

Right on Alan....I know what I'm doing Saturday afternoon this weekend.

To all others - tune into what is an awesome interview with her royal sleaness.

I only caught the last half of it, but am looking forward to a repeat. In fact, this interview is how I discovered Sarah....I loved the comment she made to Alan part way through the interview when she said "I am so loving this interview, loving these questions....you're not asking me what I'm wearing!"

Very nice interview. I liked it when she played the intro to 'Oh Man' when she was tinkering with the piano.
