Yes I must admit, Futureshop/Best Buy have some amazing prices on CDs and especially DVDs. I work at Best Buy and I hate my job 85% of the time but I can't deny myself the amazing deals they have there. the staff discounts on media products suck. They literally sell new cds/dvds about 10 cents to $1.50 above cost. Which is why HMV and other stores cant really compete since all their revenue comes from those products, where futureshop sells a bunch of other crap. Just so all of you guys know, Futureshop.ca has free shipping on all orders (not some rancid "Free" shipping on orders over $39 like amazon.ca) But they seem to be out of stock of Day One on futureshop.ca
Don't panic, I'll get the arc, you get the animals.

It was nice to get an extra bookelt though, so that I can get her to sign the other with a better signature. Think about it though -- if she had to sign 50 booklets in a row, and sometime in the recent past, because she's been in Europe, non? So, I mean, I'd probably just do the easy thing. Although, you'd think she'd sign her full name....whatevs, I'm happy

I wonder if as she went on she just got tired and the signatures got shorter and shorter. Either way that cool. I'm ok with not having a signed booklet. Only cause I'm seeing her in November. Hopefully I'll be able to meet her again and have her sign Day One. *crosses fingers*

I think I'm the only one to get mine from A&B Sound. Wow. She's one of the only artists that I adore that's still producing music so it was really exciting. My cousin and I went the day it came out. She took the cd off the shelf first, but I bought mine first. Then we popped the gorgeous cd into the cd player and cruised. Life's grand.

[quote="passenger"][quote:f7a0ea8289="metal2000"]I bought my copy at HMV for $13.99. Music World is selling it for the exact same price, but HMV is offering Sarah's CD among other CDs for 2 for $25. In the end, I couldn't find another CD I really wanted to buy.[/quote:f7a0ea8289] Same as me! I went in to HMV in Halifax, saw it amongst the 2/$25 CDs (but not the new releases OR under Sarah Slean) and looked for another one but couldn't find one so I ended up with just Sarah!

wow alot of you got signed coppies. that's really sweet. It appears that BestBuy/Future Shop still have the best in store price for Day One at 10.99 CDN. Anyone purchase legal downloads of the album? I believe puretracks had the entire album. I was currious to know about the quality of the tracks and just if anyone hear was even interested in paying for mp3s. Cameron

I purchased "Lucky Me" from puretracks.com when it was first released. If you don't mind .wma, which I don't, it's a GREAT service. The quality is identical to that of the CD, and you can burn up to a certain number of copies (so, technically, you could legally pay for one CD and burn 4... or whatever the number is). I'm a big fan of puretracks... though I rather dislike all the other services.
