A voting campaign eh? I'll second that.

And that Hoobastank song isn't such a bad song. But I certainly do not wish to hear it every hour of the day. There's always a tune that gets over-played every summer. People just need to stop requesting it so much and just go out and buy the goddamn album.

As for my current fave off the new album, I'd have to say the hidden track as well. "Somebody's Arms"? Is that what it's called? Brilliant tune!

Cheers.

The entire albumis spectacular first of all. But special standout songs include Mary, California, and Vertigo.

Bought at CD Plus at Milton Mall this morning for the ride to school (UofGu)

My favourite songs on Day One so far are Wake Up and Pilgrim. I'm a little disappointed with what she's done with California though it's still a great song. I have to disagree with you on the hidden track though - it's the only track on the album I don't like.

I've only listened to the secret song twice but I have to admit it isn't doing much for me yet. I'm willing to bet it'll grow on me though.

"Your Wish is My Wish" is quickly becoming a favorite - what a fantastic song.

Pilgrim, for sure. That song gives me chills.

My first impression through the album was better than that of Nightbugs; I rather enjoyed it. It's tough to pick a favourite just yet, though, I must say the hidden track is very 'radio-friendly' ;p

[quote:eef1d96c39="batgirl"]ugh. hoobastank are vile and should be shunned to the dark corners of the earth.
should we start a voting campaign for the lucky me video?[/quote:eef1d96c39]

Hahaha, so agreed.
I like your signature.

The secret song scared the CRAP out of me, it's very catchy though.

OMG!
It's Jason Peddle.

I am personally loving the new album. I had only heard a few tracks prior to my first listen and I have to say that it grabbed me right off the bat. My favorite tracks thus far, from my first impression, are Pilgrim, Vertigo, When Another Midnight, and Your Wish is My Wish.

I can't believe Sarah's playing the guitar on some tracks on Day One! I like what I hear so far, especially Wake Up. I know I'll keep encouraging her to learn new instruments!

I'm not a huge fan of the hidden track. It sounds like a John Mayer song, I think. It really doesn't have that Sarah feel to it. And I don't see what all the hype is over California. Although the lyrics are wonderful, I don't think the accompaniment for the track does the lyrics justice. There's just not much that grabs me in that track.

Anyways, it hasn't left my player yet. I had to put all of Sarah's songs on my minidisc player so I can listen to them all at random while I'm at work. It's great. Smiler
