It's hard to believe that it's already been a year since Day One was released. Wonder if Sarah knew that in that year she'd be in a movie, tour Europe, and have an art show.

I was thinking about this date as the album promos are still running on radio stations pushing the sales for the album.

I think quite a few of us were surprised by the album not being carried in the US.

A year ago i would have been very doubtful that I would have met so many of you, seen her play so many times, and seeked so much info.

A year ago i didn't realize Sarah Slean existed.

Still remember being stuck in traffic on the DVP listening to CBC and being drawn into the magical world of the Slean.

Been a terrific journey - not just musical, but this board, the art book for Sarah and meeting and making a bunch of awesome new friends.

Same here on the having met so many passioneers. When I think about it, a year ago, the only Slean fans I knew from the web were Tab, Hanson (in Vancouver) and Neal (Neal being the only one I knew from the boards... but I really met him through navy soup).

It was around this time last year I started using msn with you folks... and you all weasled your ways into my heart. ops: damn you. :P You turned me from someone who thought meeting people from the internet was weird/dangerous/creepy into a meeting-people-from-the-internet-is-cool person. oi!

Could it be the Alan Neal interview where they go over the entire album?

Yes, that's the one. I'm sure he's posted that in a couple different threads.

Also just noticed that today is the one-year anniversary of Sarah's one and only post on this board!
