I just posted a pic by my user name, but it doesn't seem to work, it is a jpg and less than 6kb, and the dimensions are 80 by 70 or something, i also tried one that was 79 pixels by 70, but doesn' show....why?

try linking it from another website. it wasn't working for me when i tried to upload it but now it does when i used something from my photobucket page

ahh, finaly i just put the pic up on one of those free online photoalbum sites, thanks for your help!

i did the same and it still isn't working.

it's 80 by 80 and under 3 KB's. I even uploaded it onto my photobucket and it still doesn't work...

edit: i've also tried to use one of sarah's artwork avatar's and it still won't work.

I found using photobucket to work aswell. Surprisingly there was no image size restrcition aplied to the image when linking off site. I had to shrink things down so it didn't muck up the board.
