Very nice layout, almost like a a blog page sent to my inbox. Only layout change would to change the colours of links to something that contrast more with the background. On my monitor I can not read the text of the link without first highlighting it.
The Orphan Music write up (right side bar) still contains the error of stating "live concerts recorded in December 2006"
I like the Orphan Music advert at the bottom of it.
Any idea if these are to be sent on any scheduale? If Sarah's words will be contained in all?
eeeek!!! NEW NEWSLETTER!! SHEET MUSIC!! REQUESTS FOR SHEET MUSIC! NEW NEWSLETTER!! PHILOSOPHY! DEMOS! etc! hah awesome!! so nice to hear from Sarah, always puts a smile on my face <3
edit again: WHEE!! NEW POETRY BOOK!! (teehee i'm still reading) edit #3: and new blog entry! reading this after a long period of Slean deprivation does well for my heart
I noticed the blog earlier tonight from the sidebar notification I have on littleslean news page.
My bot on the mailing list did show a new entry but presented it all as unreadable code, not human friendly. I did have a subscription to another email account.
Great to hear about the sheet music. I can't play but am interested in what people will request.
Great to hear the three songs she has confirmed so far. Saddie and My Song have not yet secured a spot?
The shot with Sarah and Cohen I believe is from last year's songwriters award. There is another shot of Sarah at this year's song writers award up on Flickr. More recently, a single photo is available of Sarah at the Socan Songwriters Circle this weekend.
It's funny how the newsletters come at the very time that I start thinking "I wonder what's new in Slean world."
Great to hear about all the exciting new things we have to look forward to. A new record, a new poetry book, sheet music. I wish that I could go to the performance in Vancouver, I'll be there a few days later...
"You don't see beavers wracking their brains about beaver-ness." - my favourite line from the new blog.
"I don't need you to buy me dinner. I just need you to love me."
I'm excited for everything else too, but the sheet music made me want to scream. I actually wrote a letter to Sarah that I gave to her the first time I met her requesting sheet music. And it's finally here! Whee! Now to make my list...
