You can still get a fairly good glance at the offical sarah slean pages dating back to 1998.

 http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://http://webhome.idirect.com/~nsounds/sarah/

Some good finds:
pic of a 5yr old sarah playing piano
a clip from 2000 with sarah playing High.
more artwork
old reviews
old merchandise (shirts, cassettes)

Most the information has been carried on over to this page and respective fan sites. I only got to discover Sarah when the Night Bugs themed page was out. I like the piano souns over the menue buttons. (I'm not sure if that page is accessible)

Regards,

Cameron Bay.

Wow! It's hard to believe I have been a fan THAT long. I can remember back in grade 9 when I barely knew what the internet was (even before I had an email address!!!)

I knew I liked this song "I Know" by a girl named Sarah Slean but couldn't find her cds anywhere.

So I typed in www.sarahslean.com and read her lyrics. All of them. Practically knew them by heart by the time 3 years went by and I finally heard more of her music.

Thanks so much!! Oh the memories!

yes I recognized the "adment" part of your picture site as vaguely familiar to a slean site I remembered.

wasn't it the one that was blue and had the picture of slean from her high video?

oh the memories ... and same here, the gr 9 memories are just flooding back!!! (eg. people going Sarah WHO?!?! ... ) oh those were the days.

i looked through 5 huge boxes in my basement a few weeks ago trying to find my old school Universe tape. that's right people, I was so ghetto that I actually managed to listen to Sarah on tape before switching to a discman. Chris, I remember your fansite now, it was a really good one!!!!

shit, talking about the tape makes me want to hide in my basement and look for it again. anybody willing to sell their copy of Universe on tape to me? I'll pay alot.

Don't panic, I'll get the arc, you get the animals.

Wow.. I didn't even have the net till 99. That's some crazy stuff. O how those were the days! Gr9? haha I started around the same time but gr.6-7 as a sleanhead

` I wanna be the bluebird singing
Singing to the roses in her yard
Roses in her yard her father grew for her
It's been raining like Tennessee honey
So long I got too heavy to fly
Ain't no bluebird ever gets too heavy to sing `

yah. i gotta see if i can dig up some of that content. before the picture from the High video i used to have a mini Universe-type banner thing I drew and a ton of pictures by James Mcgarry and.. some other names that escape me right now.

It was alright for its time, but back then, keeping up-to-date with shows was hard work, and I didn't have the time to go looking up articles.

edit: I just went through some of my oldschool Sleanstuff: I got some real antique stuff! (relatively speaking). A whole bunch of her navy soup mailouts, a handwritten post-it with thanks for buying Universe through the site, the black and green universe t-shirt and the Alien T-shirt, setlist from one of her old Rivoli shows.. cripes.

Well the Internet Archive's cache of the old message board (night bugs hotle) is somewhat difficult to navigate.

The google cache and links I found using the "allinurl" command comes up with a fair list of some of the older threads.

fficial&start=20&sa=N&filter=0" TARGET=_blank>explore hitting "cache" to view the old threads

I found the one reminded me of the passioner projectsee .
