Someone explain to me what the big deal is .. honestly!

Nicole is the the moderator of this board, she has every right to clean up the board, to reorganize it. It's not a personal attack on any one of you, she's not intentionally trying to be mean by deleting posts. She's just cleaning up. Dead threads on page 43 for instance ... how often do you think it will be read in the next year? C'mon .. think about it. She is just doing her job. THAT IS ALL. Yet all of you lunge at her from left, right and center, crying about deleted posts when there's so much more to life then a message board, or a post count. If a post was deleted, why not start a new thread? There is that possibility it owuld lead to a newly generated discussion about the topic .. no?!

She has every right to do anything she wants, as do we all. We also have every right to disagree with the way she's going about it. And to voice our disagreement. That's all.

Perhaps it's the packrat in me, but I don't believe in deleting old things just for the sake of it. That's why I don't like the idea of deleting and then re-starting posts.

Of course you can disagree .. but my question is .. what if next time she decides to tidy up a bit .. then what?

once again, i'm 100% with Neal.

No one was "lunging", no one was attacking anyone personally. Both Neal and I have an opinion that we'd rather not see posts deleted or censored. Period.

Nik will kick ass as moderator - there wasn't a better choice that could have been made.

However, any of us, neal and I in this case, will reserve the right to disagree.
