willow: Great article, you got some really great quotes from Louise Upperton! And you got some different little tidbits in there than what's been published over and over about the show, nice!

Vertigo: That one was beautiful! good choice Smiler

elizabeth: thank you. Smiler i had to argue with my editor to keep the background stuff about louise. she wanted me to just focus on the art show; i said i wanted more beyond that since every publication kept featuring the same info, same quotes.

my editor said some mean stuff about sarah based on what she saw on e-talk daily. i won't even repeat it here. Frowner

I think my keeping hte background stuff in you kept your article interesting to read. I mean if no one's read anything about the art show then the same old stuff will do but you got all of the pertinant information in and then had a different spin on it. I say 2 thumbs up Smiler

Also, basing an opinion about someone based on what Etalk shows... not too reliable. Those are just gossip shows, good to get some hype out about the show, but not overly informative...

i've had to tie myself down to my house, cut off my fingers...
i want to purchase her art work too!
but i am so poor, a student who cries out unemployment!!
hidden behind osap debt
is it crazy?
should i do it?!
i fell in love with the piece the moment i saw it
what is money really,
money that will probably be spent on other useless things...
i've emailed the gallery director...
perhaps the piece has already been bought
i guess fate will decide

I had the same problem... and then bought a painting...

The good thing is they can let you pay on layaway, so you can make 2-3 payments (depending on the price) and that helped me out a lot. What piece is it? I know some of the ones that are sold off hand...

i have on littleslean an image depicting what images were sold and reserved from a couple of weekends ago. i'm sure more have gone of that list.

it is hard to pass by the opportunity to buy an original.

my favourite was 'asleep by the river,' which in ravens is called 'passion coma.' and i also liked 'blowing butterflies,' 'house on the hill,' and 'after the circus,' which is called 'vertigo' in ravens....
but i LOVED 'asleep by the river' so if any of you bought it, please enjoy it for me!

I bought "Wingscar + Opening Night" and really really really wanted to buy Anatomy Lesson but that just couldn't happen this time around.

Apparently, as of Sunday, there were 16 paintings sold Smiler
