that's a great act by a bunch of great Canadian artists, well worth the $10 (or $20)

Excellent collection....too bad there's not a CD release of this, would much prefer to have the actual CD in my hands.

And kudos to Sarah for contributing to a very worthy cause. I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed she didn't show up a couple weeks back as part of the CBC tsunami relief fund-raiser.

I would rather have a phyical CD aswell but I guess I can make one. It's for a good cause Smiler.

I think with puretracks it works as a brilliant promotion for them and with much smaller expenses, more can be donated without distribution issues.

I have seen Sarah's name attached to many good causes. The Canada for Asia benefit was great but they had more then a full line up. It's awesome to see how many Canadian artists are doing things for the Tsuname. Ivana Santilli, Ethero, Brassmunk etc at the Operah House - BSS at Lee's Palace, Avril etc doing their thing

Haven't listened to the downloaded version yet, but I've heard it on teh radio, and i like it. Nothing like "Love Is The Only Soldier" but similar to a lot of the other songs on her last album.

I'm only about half way through the second CD.... gotta say I appreciate Raine's sentiment but his voice doesnt' do justice to "Imagine." Madonna did a better version

Raine's voice is soooo flat (and in flat i mean flat/sharp deal) and nasally ... Doing a cover of Imagine is like one of the worst ideas ever... you can't do a better job, and even if you did, no one would admit it ....

I don't know what posessed madonna to do a cover of it too... but i think i'd prefer hers over his too.

Don't panic, I'll get the arc, you get the animals.

I concur Jareed. There are just some songs that shouldn't be touched, and Lennon's Imagine is one of 'em.

Happy XMas (War is Over), however, is a much-covered song by Lennon which one would also expect shouldnt' be touched... however I've heard a NUMBER of really good versions out there... surprisingly, Cline Dion and soulDecision are amongst the better ones!
