There was an article in the Winnipeg Sun a couple days ago (at least, I think it was the Sun -- it may have been the Free Press) about how she's been doing a lot of songwriting for other people lately, because she's got so much material and can't possibly release most of it as her own. Obviously we all know about the Avril stuff, but apparently she's also been called upon by Gwen Stefani and Kelly Clarkson.

I used to have a copy of OLP's Sarah version of "Julia" live (lost it with my system crash last fall) but have never heard (or even heard of) Rock Star. I'd love to hear that one someday though!

Yep .. that's right. Chantal is credited as one of the songwriters on Gwen's "Rich Girl" featuring Eve .. and for Kelly's tracks, she's co-written "Where Is Your Heart" and "Walk Away" (Raine Maida as well for "Walk Away").
