Try acetaminophen (Tylenol extra strength) or acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin).

andrea, it meant [i:65624a70b1]so much[/i:65624a70b1] to me that you reiterated that what you had was a headache and not a migraine. i am a migraine sufferer, have been for 17 years, and i can't tell you how irritating it is when people with a slightly-more-painful-than-average aches in their heads start throwing the word migraine around. most of these people have absolutely no idea what it's like to feel like you have a jackhammer boaring through the back of your skull while a vice simultaneously takes hold of your frontal lobe... sound hurts, light hurts... it's brutal. anyway, i just thought that it was sensitive of you to make the comment you did and i wanted to say so.

Well, for what it's worth, mine are *real* migraines. All inclusive package: photophobia, throbbing temples, vomit, the works.
