I personally really like MySpace. I don't blog very much (at least not day to day activities) but I think it's a great way for a musician to get some exposure. Especially someone like me who's brother doesn't upkeep the actual website too well. At least if you're fans know you're there, they know you still exist!

i will say one thing for myspace, after briefly updating my page yesterday, i noticed that i'd gotten mail from four different people i'd more or less forgotten about from my past. in that regard, i don't know if it's neccesarily a good thing...

I removed my last name from it a while ago for fear my mother or students would find me.

LOL. I tried googling myself the other day... I would say about 95% of the hits were either on myself, or on some guy that did some sort of pet therapy thingie.

Haha, I have the same fear with my livejournal, so I've made my name on that "Mr. Regis E. Broken", which is an anagram for my actual name.

I google myself often. Is that sad? It's neat though when you're a musician and once in a while you find something about your music. Actually, I came across my cellist's blog somewhere and she was saying how great my music was and how she was playing with me that night. It was nice!

but I just googled myself and apparently my name isn't at all unique. Though I do show up as myself in the navy soup log, which is interesting.

Lots of smart girls out there with my name. That's encouraging. I think.

Yeah I'm not a huge myspace fan either... although at some point in time I did sign up for one lol
