soo... I recently got roped into the online world of myspace... and have quickly noticed several board members there!

I have been avoiding it because I already blog through blogger and keep a photo album through msn spaces... but it looks like a great way to get into new bands.

sooo... whos using myspace?

oh my gosh... I am addicted to myspace... a lot of my favorite musicians are now my "friends"... and I can get automatic updates in the bulletin board area... not to mention being able to stream their music. I am loving it!

I am still figuring it out myself... so maybe another board member who is a myspace veteran would be better for it... (*coughnancy...cough*)

I'm on myspace ... www.myspace.com/kristilynrobertson.
I know there are forums there and all, but I've never really been into those. There are groups that can be started - I'm on a few musician ones - and they have their own message board.

I use it as a place to blog once in a while and once I get into recording again, it'll be great to post up some new tracks. It's also neat to be able to keep in touch with many musicians all in one spot. Smiler

Need a cough drop, love? LOL

MySpace -- I actually was roped into it by Dayna (Manning) herself (www.myspace.com/daynamanning) several months ago (December 2004). It's an online community, kind of like livejournal where they have groups/communities you can join (am I right about this live journal thing?), there are forums/groups for discussion/fans, and of course it is another way of getting info about your favourite artists (if they have a profile there) .. but like everywhere else, beware of frauds. Each artist's profile has streaming audio files (sommetimes they'll let you download the files too) .. I don't know what else to say about it lol. If any one uses hi5.com it's like that too I guess. I'm personally addicted to it..

If any one wants to know *pulls a face*, I'm @ www.myspace.com/seetherstar

If there are any other questions, I'll answer as best I can. Smiler

http://www.myspace.com/chartingmaps ---> that's mine

yea i'm addicted to it too. i first started because of the band Ours. Their offical website virtually has nothing so this is a good way to keep up with the band. Then I discovered many other artist i like have it as well. I should really write something about myself on the profile, but I always feel awkward writing about myself online for some reason. ::shrugs::

I usually just follow bands who have friended other bands I already like, and go from there. Found quite a few really good bands, plus some of the bands I already know and love who have MySpace pages with new songs and demos and stuff.

i forget my myspace name, but il come back and post it sometime.

I have been makeing some small updates to my page after finaly signing up. i lurked on it for years.

it's a bizare world were 80% of the girls under 20 post half naked pictures of themselves. i like how it allows an open form of communication with artists in an very inviting setting.

i have a theme in mind for my page. i want it to be adult supervision, as 'the space' seems like a 17 years old party why the parents went away for the weekend. =p
