Hi everyone!

I'm Amber, 17 years old and I live in the Netherlands.
I know Sarah because of Our Lady Peace. As you may know, Sarah had covered one of their songs "Julia" and changed it to her own style. She had sent it to Our Lady Peace. They liked it, played her version live and mentioned Sarah. So I got curious, and now I'm a fan of Sarah Slean.
I saw her show on 20 September 2004. I loved it! It was really sweet of her to come out after the show to talk to the fans. She is such a sweet, funny and kind person.

(Hey, a fellow Erindalian!! Cool. I went there about 3-4 years ago... took the Art & Art History program.)

Pleasure to meet you all. My name's Clem... from Toronto, but now in Sudbury for the past 2 years working as an animator for the CBC series - Chilly Beach.

Been to 2 of Sarah's gigs... one at Winterfest, and one at the Phoenix. She blew me away each time. I'm hoping she'll do a gig in Sudbury.

I'm also a big fan of Sarah McLachlan and Sarah Harmer. (What is it with the name Sarah?? Such talents!) Other faves include Oasis, Coldplay, Travis, Radiohead (earlier stuff), Starsailor, Dido... I have a huge fascination with British culture too, in case it's not obvious.

I'll keep it brief and finish off here. Ciao for now.

Cheers.
[You give them your music, but they just want a song]

Hello all you lovers of Sleaner!
I'm Kat, I go to Dal in Halifax (marine bio major), and I'm obsessed with all things music and movies.
I love Sarah, simply because when I heard "Sweet Ones" on the radio I thought "Wow, there's something new and different." I like the fact that she has her own distinct sound. I've been to two of her shows, and loved both of them. My dream: to sing backup with Sarah -- not like it's EVER going to happen...I love how everything she writes is poetry. She has such amazing talent.
Other favs in music at the moment: Radiohead (why not..), Green Day (just bought the new one -- it's a must-buy), Feist, Phantom Planet, Fiona Apple, The Vines, THE CLASH!, Nelly Furtado...the list goes on...there's not much I don't like...that's a lie -- I don't like a lot of pop music...I tolerate it.

hi kids!
i'm wini; i'm 21 going on 22 (on oct. 24th) and studying journalism in toronto (no, not ryerson. heh).
my two loves in life are music and writing. my ambition is to marry the two together and become a music journalist.
i was lucky enough to cover sarah's show in guelph for the student paper two years ago and got to speak to her afterwards. for someone who has been playing piano since she was four (that's me), sarah's piano-playing leaves me in awe. the other time i met her/saw her perform was at the in-store at indigo books.

other music i love: radiohead, travis, bjork, the beatles, sigur ros, weezer, the white stripes, pedro the lion, death cab for cutie, cuff the duke, aimee mann, the dandy warhols, portishead, ben kweller, elliott smith, sarah harmer, rufus wainwright, fiona apple, the shins, muse... really, i could go on and on.

other random things i like: sailor moon mangas, harry potter, hamsters, shopping, polka-dotted umbrellas...

i hope to hang out here a lot more often with all you lovely people!

paramour music on myspace.

are you going to the halifax show?[/quote:a8b57e26bc]

When I find out more about it, I'll prolly go. I'm not interested in the fact that she's opening for Ron Sexsmith though. Right now, it's completely depending on ticket prices.

FYI, in Europe, Sarah has been joining Ron Sexsmith on stage during his set so you might want to reconsider the early exit...

Lol, thanks Cathy Big Grin
Early exit reconsidered. I wouldn't do that anyway -- a concert's a concert.

I'm Paula, I'm 23 and I live in Halifax.

I like to listen to music, sing, go to movies, chat on the net, write letters, hang out with my boyfriend or friends, play pool, play piano, etc.

I've been a fan of Sarah's since '98 or so....

I like a heap of other artists too, which I have listed in a post on the "Music in General" forum in the "Fave Non-Sarah Artist" threadSmiler

[quote:493f0a1c73="Typhoeus"]Jason here, hailing from St. John's, NL. 20 years old yesterday and doing computer programming at College of the North Atlantic. An ex-girlfriend introduced me to Sarah around when Night Bugs came out, and I quickly fell in love. Sadly I missed both of her concerts here previously, but don't intend to do so this time around (November 16th).

I'm usually found modding it up over at bluekaffee.com or wandering the city in search of adventure.

Here's random camwhore shot.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as Ty, here, except I'm 18 and on the waiting list for CNA. Live in St. John's, introduced to Sarah's music by some friends around the time Night Bugs was released, loved it, missed the previous St. John's concerts, and intend on going to the one on this tour if it kills me :P

Also seen moderating bluekaffee.com, and trapsing about elsewhere on the internet and occasionally in the real world.
