Yeah. Third. You?

Any pictures? Maybe you're in some of my classes... assuming you are Dal also.

Second. So chances are we're not in the same classes, unless you're taking second year cognitive or developmental. Small world though!

Oh wait, on a double check: Cognitive is 2130. Developmental is 2090. My Developmental class is taught by Penny Corkum. (Also, I'm in P2000) Either way, nice to make your acquaintance!

Yeah, I'm in that class with Penny! LOL! I guess it'll be kinda awkward going to that class now. I wonder if I could pick you out of the bunch... Sarah Slean fans aren't that easy to pick out of a crowd since they come in all shapes and sizes and types. heh heh

That's hilarious! And of all times to find this out, it's the end of a semester. I'd post a picture of myself, but I think this is funnier. I'm going to have fun going to this class tomorrow.

Aww.. I have to know now! I prolly wouldn't know who you were anyway because of where in the classroom I sit, I can't see a lot of faces!

It's true. Haha, anyway, I'm glad introducing myself has generated this... a great laugh - good way to start the day.

Well, after class tomorrow we'll meet back here in this topic (or a new topic... whichever) and try to guess who is who. heh heh. Then pictures will be revealed! Deal? Deal!

This is .. hilarious.
I recently experienced the same thing with wootam! -- he's in the same year in the same faculty as me, and we have a ton of mutual friends.

How incredibly random. I love how terribly small this world really is.

barf! you better recognize!

actually i have an unhealthy lust-affair with the DAL library....sometimes i just want to lay down in an aisle and see if any books fall on me.....don't ask why.

you could lose yourself in there....not so much as SMU Red Faceops:

I'm thrilled to have joined an "internet community" - something I never do, that is filled with such facinating and wonderful peeps, thankyou for being yourselves. It has been great fun for me to read about each of you. Thank you for supporting Sarah other artists who dare to create.

I haven't posted anything except for this, so I will star by being less selfish and saying that Sarah Slean's music amazes me -- her recordongs, her live performances floor me... and she is such a sweet, warm woman. In a perfect world my best friend would be Sarah Slean (but in this one I will gladly settle for my husband Jaimz). My Sarah song of choice if I have to choose is "The Score". I was lucky enough to be her openning act a couple years ago her in Winnipeg.

So me, me, me....
I'm 26 years old.
I'm dirt poor but I get by... right now my lifestyle is tied too closely to the number of telephone surveys I can complete per hour (don't ask).
Most importantly I live for music - I have this "thing" I do called Querkus which I would most dearly love to share with all of you is you would care of honour me with your acknowlegement (see www.querkus.net).
It's some vague form of pop music I guess, art-pop or pop-noir if you ask me.

I also take and teach piano lessons, and I play celtic harp for spare change and big bucks when I get a chance.

Other artists I like : Portishead, Beck, Tom Waits, The Beatles, The White Stripes, Massive Attack, The Dears, too many to name, really... but you all should check out Veda Hille, you really should.

Alse Jaimz my guy, he makes movies and you can see them by checking out www.zed.cbc.ca and searching for "Dirty Undies"

xoxoxo
