why do people use the word "panties" to refer to the singular? "i'm wearing panties." i don't know too many gals who wear more than one panty at a time...

enough with the word PANTIES already! hehe...

I'm not sure about the panties thing.. but I would never say "I'm wearing panties".. I'd say "I'm wearing underwear". I don't like the word panties.

and why isn't there a singular form of pants? Why do we use the same word when saying "I'm wearing pants" and "My closet is full of pants."?

maybe girls who are trying extra hard to be wholesome and virgin-like wear more than one pair of panties...

I also never say I'm wearing panties. But that just may be because I'm a guy and don't wear panties.

i don't like the word panties either! i hate it almost as much as i hate the word "blog", which has got to be one of the most horrid new words in the english language.

I'm used to blogger, but the term blog is a bit geeky.
I don't mind panties in a cheeky sense.

Ahh that reminds me, did anyone catch the littleslean.com blog where for half a day it had a posting on it about GPS panties?

True story, I accidently was replying in another blog but somehow in editing I ended up publishing to littleslean. Happened to be the same day where a link to littleslean was in a resume. The only reason I caught the error was seeing the word "gps panties" fly up in my signature here.

since then i have been pretty careful.
