Hey guys!

So, as some of you may know, I'm a composer. And many of you may not know that I won recognition in the 2003/2004 Alberta Guild of English Handbell Ringers Composition Contest ($250 - woohoo!). Anyway, I have started writing for next year's competition and found that I lost my handbell notation book, so I emailed a lady at this little store in Edmonton called Handbells Etc. to ask if they had any more books in stock. I told her about my composition and that I rang in the Concordia Handbell Choir in my last year at university. She emailed me back last night and said that she is the director of a bell group in my town and that she had a lady phone her and say that she can't ring this year due to an injury, so she asked if I'd be interested! Of course!

In case any of you aren't aware, bell ringing is so much fun ... I might put up the (not too great) recording that the Concordia Ringers did of my winning composition sometime for you all to listen to. I am looking so forward to it!

Also, Concordia is thinking of putting on an alumni ringing ensemble and we're supposed to be having a meeting about that.

Yay! Bells bells bells ... Oh! And I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I was an extra in a movie called Santa's Slay (which may very well come out this Christmas) as a bell ringer. The group's name was called 'Hell's Bells.' Funny, eh?

I'll stop my rambling now ... I was so excited I had to share with everyone!
