I saw George Strumbolopolous(sp?) in Toronto the other day.

George Strombolopolous is amazing! I want to meet him someday.

I could've grabbed his cell phone number (mutual friend left his phone book out) but I realized there'd be no point. :P

he spoke to my Interviewing Strategies class at school a few years ago. we also had Loreena McKennitt as a guest lecturer in our Art of Leadership class, which I'd forgotten. she was very forthcoming and interesting and I got to chat with her for a few minutes afterward.

i completely forgot what was one of my most memorable encounters. it was back in 1991 and i attended a private backstage barbecue with debbie gibson and her crew. it was so thrilling at the time! and then things got even better when my sister and i were picked out of the audience during the show to dance onstage with her. ah yesteryear... good times.

I went passed David Suzuki on the street.

I didn't stop to chat with him; I felt that I've done enough damage to his Earth.

Last month I interviewed Greg Grunberg of "Heroes", "Alias", and "Felicity" fame.

I also interviewed Jorma Taccone and Chester Tam of The Lonely Island (Jorma also writes for "SNL" and co-wrote/co-starred in last summer's "Hot Rod"). They even made a little short on YouTube based on our interview.

So a bit random, but Hawksley Workman was doing a free show at Zulu Records in Vancouver today and I distinctly saw him grab The Baroness off the shelf and excitedly flip through the booklet. It was kind of cute.

Hawksley did a show at Zulu?! No way! Gha why don't I ever hear about these things... I was on 4th today too!
