if a relationship issue needs to be dealt with I think that any way it can be accomplished is going to help. I was in a long distance relationship (now it isn't) and we had to deal with stuff over e-mail all the time.

on mtv here its censored. Actually I thought that was just the way the song was until I heard it at the gym and I was like... wait... is that a sh- or a shit?

Normally it's a 'shit' (i.e. on the recorded album version)... Much and the radio stations play either "sh--" or "[insert random whistle/'uh-oh'/etc. sound here]" -- except for 105.1 The River who always play the word shit whenever it's in a song (i.e. Avril's My Happy Ending, among others)... but I mean this is a freaking CD!!! It's not like there are CRTC regulations or codes of conduct they have to live up to. ugh. On a totally unrelated note, this isn't a Green Day video, it's a freaking short film!

When I saw The Raspberries in concert last July, I thought that Eric Carmen would say the line in the song "Starting Over" "Used To Be So Fu-kin' Optimstic" instead of saying "Fuffin' Optimstic" or mumble the words out.

Back in 1981 the song "Stairway To Cleveland" by The Jefferson Starship said in the line: "F--k you, we do what we want!" Somehow, a radio station in Saginaw, Michigan forgot to bleep the word out that same year.

OMG. I'm listening to Cyndi Lauper's new acoustic album. TIme After Time with Sarah McLachlan, which is the single, is great. MOre bizarre is All Through the Night featuring SHAGGY. But what really takes the cake is Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, with a bit of a ska feel, featuring Puffy Ami Yumi. It's like early No Doubt meets t.A.T.u.

I forgot to mention when I saw The Raspberries do the song "Party's Over" singer Wally Bryson said "I'm crazy but I don't give a sshhhhh" instead of that other word.

I'm supposing Sarah was already on the list but not confirmed? This isn't confirmed but she did TELL me... She said they weren't sure how much Sarah costs or if they would sell many (last time she came at a different venue she sold approx 150?)

Sarah, oh Sarah, why must everything you print and sell be on paper of freakishly un-frame-able dimensions?! small prints: 5"x7" [ok, not that weird] large prints: 8"x11" [not 8.5"x11", not 8"x10"... oy] Posters: 10"x24" [oy!]

I'm a vegetarian too, so I know how it feels to only have a few things to eat at dinners like that...thankfully my family is starting to add alternatives for me
