Okay, I need some help (again!) :roll: . I broke off the relationship between my other boy and I (we're back to best friends again, yay!). There is this guy in grade 12, who is really amazing. I've said, like, 3 sentences to him in my entire life, but my friends are friends with him. My wingman (other best friend) Christian says that I should let him tell this older boy how I feel about him (which is strongly) and see how he takes it. You see, my wingman and I have very different views on me. I think I'm... let's say... I feel that the only thing I've got going for me is the ability to challenge people intellectually (unless we're talking spelling contests). Christian, on the other hand, thinks I've got everything going for me. He's a foolish boy, but very kind. I don't know who to believe, and I don't know what to do! I mean, I give of the impression of a confident person, and I am, for the most part. When it comes to attractiveness, however, I'm rather... unsure of myself. It's a "clever, not beautiful" complex, I suppose. :P So, do you guys think I should let my windman tell the older fellow how I feel? Of course you're making sense...

If the guy has any brains at all, he'll appreciate that you're an intellectual - brains mean a lot. Attractiveness has a lot to do with the total package, not just the outer wrapping. I'd take a girl with brains over looks anyday, and I'm sure your friend Christian wouldn't lie to you anyway (if he's a decent friend), so if he figures you've got everything going for you, I'd say go for it. Let him say something to this guy and see what happens.

I've been in too many situations where I wish I had said something, or wish the other person had known what I was feeling, but didn't let it happen, and end up regretting it for a long time.
