I did the same thing with Duncan. I wrote this really dark, kinda mysterious song, and then realized that the tune was entirely to Duncan. Whoops!
"I don't need you to buy me dinner. I just need you to love me."

Hehe. My last Great Books paper was, effectively, Boy Wonder. lol. But on a more conceptual level. I even quoted Sarah! hehe
~ If this is the car, that I must drive to the job, that I must keep for the house, and a man I don't love; count me out. ~

I cited her In fact, since I was using both Ravens and Day One, I had to cite her more than once, and invented some fun little citations (ok, as fun as citations can be). i.e. (Slean Book, 2004).

I've incoporated Sarah into my school work as well. I had to make a powerpoint presentation on any subject, so I thought "Why not Sarah!" I thought it was pretty good, I had Sweet Ones and Duncan playing in the background and I think every agreed she was talented.

Last year, after having listened to NightBugs repeatedly, I wrote a poem called Bug Parade...very Slean inspired...I even drew a little illustration to match.

We're having a book of poetry and artwork?! Can I submit?

This could get BIG What would be really great is if we compiled a collection of Sarah-inspired poetry and art, and then sold it to benefit something...perhaps we'd leave that up to Sarah...I think that would be great, but I like to think big, myself...

A fan told me an idea she had about a year and a half ago to make a scrapbook. To have everyone make a scrapbook page and send them to someone (me or her I guess) and leave it up to individuals to decorate the page however they wanted. Then, whenever Sarah was in town, give it to her.
We never did anything with her idea. It was HER idea after all. But it was a good one.

I like that. But the logistics seem difficult. Especially the whole giving out your personal mailing address thing.
