The number of units Night Bugs sold that I quoted was only a national figure for it's first year. I would presume the ablum continued to sell. I only caught wind of Sarah's name around 2004.

I'm pretty sure 50,000 qualifies an artist for a gold award in Canada, and 100,000 qualifies for platinum. And for a Canadian artist, those are good numbers -- close to what Julie Masse sold back in the day.

Day One has had more exposure than Night Bugs. For example, Amazon.com only ever sold the Sarah Slean EP and Day One, not Night Bugs. That may have helped Day One sell more copies.
