I have never seen a comprehensive list before. I will have to do some searching to find some of Sarah's chart success. I will have to update this list when I find new information.
Here is Sarah's chart history at Q94FM in Winnipeg.
Her fist full albums: Universe and Blue Parade were indie releases and as such were considered success. Songs from both albums charted on college radio stations. I don't know what current figures are. support
Her album Night Bugs was released on 2 different lables to cover the US and Canada.
Day One was released in Canada in over selected international regions.
Her last 2 albums were both awarded juno nominations. I don't know how either of them did in the charts or sales.
I don't know any numbers and since Jam! Music stopped doing their chart commentary, there's no way to really get any info on her past chart success. I know 'Mary' almost made the Top 30 in both Hot AC and AC radio formats in Canada and her CD entered the Canadian album chart at #52 was it? I'm not sure if it has gone Gold or not. http://www.cria.ca/ This website should tell you if it has.
I remember hearing in the paper that shes sold about 100,000 albums, but I think thats really low. so maybe something around there. its not the quantity its the quality that matters!....down with fergie!

Actually, I would say 100,000 sounds about right. Sarah isn't a big name in Canadian music right now and she hasn't really had a huge-selling album. I'm not sure what sales of 'Night Bugs' has been. Possibly enough for it to be certified Gold and I'd say 'Day One' is probably near it as well so if both are at around 45,000 or so, then you have 10,000 for the others combined.
That cria.ca website I gave has archives that go back to 2001. Unfortunately they don't have a search function so one would have to check each individual month to see if she's ever gotten any sales awards.

The write up for Orphan Music states that Day One has outsold Night Bugs.
Regards to how many of her previous albums sold:

The 25-year-old hit the Toronto music scene and started her own label, Big Brother, young. Her youth didn't stop her from making fans and some cash. All told, Slean's two indie discs, Universe and Blue Parade, sold a whopping 15,000 copies. Pretty much unheard of success in Canada.
Another article from 2002 states that she had sold over 15,000 albums with those combined.

However, Atlantic balked at releasing her next set, "Night Bugs," and Slean parted ways with the company in 2001. Warner Canada released the album in 2002, and it has sold 16,500 units domestically, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In 2003, Slean was named top new artist at the Juno Awards.
Oh, ok! So, if the first two have 15,000, then Night Bugs presumably has maybe 40,000 or so and 'Day One' maybe 45,000? Give or take a few thousand for each.
That's not too bad considering the amount of airplay Sarah gets on radio and video stations and the fact that all of her hit singles have been available on the Women & Songs compilations.
Sarah should have won that Juno in 2003. I forget who else was nominated and who won that year though.

The number of units Night Bugs sold that I quoted was only a national figure for it's first year. I would presume the ablum continued to sell. I only caught wind of Sarah's name around 2004.
