i tore my house APART looking for my tape... it's like childhood memorabilia ... well 'childhood' is stretching it. 'teenhood' memorabilia i guess. it was such an integral part of my life. and i want it BACK.

I don't even have a tape player anymore...

i still have my universe tape. haven't played it in years though 'cuz my fave track on the CD, John XXIII, isn't on it. i remember the night i bought it too - the release party at c'est what! those were good days...

John XXIIIrd is one of my favourites as well.

Me and Jerome is my sister's all time favourite song! I'm quite fond of it as well. It's great for driving to . And Universe is gorgeous. "floating in a navy soup, we're sailing". I LOVE that line. Mmmm stars.

I picked up Universe, Blue Parade, and Sarah Slean immediately after seeing her live for the first time! I ordered them from the site. Nightbugs was teh first album I bought. It didn't take long before I was hooked . Then, picked up Day One the day it was released.

Now I'm anxiously awaiting her next album. I'm sure it will be quite delicious.

This has put me very in the mood to go listen to Universe befire bed.

according to this site, universe and blue parade have been deleted.
so these albums might be more difficult to get ahold of after the current supply has been run dry.

I doubt that they would just let the albums die. Sarah played Me & Jerome religiously on the last tour, and I'm sure they will continue to offer it for sale at shows, and on the site. Mass distribution, however, is a different story. But these albums never really got that to begin with.

oops, i forgot to take into consideration that they could have put down "deleted" based on the period of time when the albums were no longer available through maple.com.

There does come a period in time when albums are very hard to find.

It's often on that list. That either says that she's selling lots of old CD's, or that Maple doesn't do much business... let's hope for the former!

I clicked on the link in the Boutique to buy Universe. But Maple says that it is not currently available...

Is this a long term situation or is it a "getting more stock in" situation?? I'll be so sad if I can't find it. :cry:
