When I was listening to Sarah's "Twin Moon" (from "Blue Parade"), the sign Gemini is the sign of the twins (planet Mercury) while the sign of Cancer the crab is the planet Moon. Because Sarah's birthday is June 21 which is a cusp. Am I wrong about the song?? :?

hmmm...

what an interesting observation! I have no idea! I do know that it is about sarah's frustration with the publicity (or lack thereof) when she was first starting out and how she was being misquoted... etc etc.

Very cool observation Matthew....I'm a cusp baby too, born mere hours past the solstice on June 22.....hmmmm, a cosmic connection with the sleanster.... Big Grin

I was about to start a thread on "Twin Moon" as well - my question is regarding the spoken work intro, of which I've attempted a transcription;
[quote:4b46fa2c88]I shall have no more than my "something" worlds,
My space in the universe encompasses and
comes swallows me up like an atom,
My thought I comprehend the world.[/quote:4b46fa2c88]

It doesn't sound like Sarah speaking...

Any idea who it is speaking? And what the significance is?

I'm pretty sure it is a quote by Blaise Pascal Pensees (a contemporary of Descartes... think math :winkSmiler

"I shall have no more if I possess worlds.
By space the universe encompasses and swallows me up like an atom;
by thought I comprehend the world."
