I love vinyl anyway.
Especially when the records are kind of semi-dirty and you get that crackly noise.

The only record I listen to is the JCS soundtrack... my dad doesn't trust me with his.

I have layed of this for a bit. It looks like Sarah selling her past releases on CD do just fine as there are a fair share of fans looking to buy that.

For new material, I found a Canadian manufaturer that can do it all with vinyl. It's very artist friendly with information down to what they can do, how they can help, and costs.

i know a lot of bands still release vinyl, like the white stripes, the strokes, the vine, etc. and peaches has vinyl releases too. also, anything on saddle creek records in the states (home of connor oberst of bright eyes fame) can be purchased on vinyl as well.

and i would LOVE some sarah slean vinyl. although the fisher price record player i hae i getting a bit rusty! hahahaha. any places to find a decent used one that anyone knows about?

it's dated, 97..... but some parts still hold true. i liked seeing the pictures of the employee in the plant as it showed a lot of the different stages.

AND just yesterday, Jeremy Fisher had vinyl of his first album!! Apparently it was limited edition, and it was a 'gift' from his manager. Ooh if only I had that kind of power lol.

My dad would have loved a vinyl copy of Jeremy's cd. I hope more artists have vinyl alternatives in the future.

There might still be some available. He's headed east though, not west.
Perhaps e-mail his management or something? You might be able to special order.
