Nice :!:

Well done. I think Sarah may have actually played the Piano on the Love Song. I don't have the ear to tell but she's listed on the K-OS album inlay for piano, not as a sample. He has video for that which is on mtv.com I think.

There was some truth behind that Slean underwear??
lol, nm... that's going to get things off topic.

Nik's done a good job on littleslean of laying out the discography with track info. IMHO.

If you read on the last page of the booklet it says :

Featuring samples from "sweet ones" performed by Sarah Slean from the album blah blah blah

The sample is sped up though

Don't panic, I'll get the arc, you get the animals.

Wow, awesome job Jason. Cathy should post this up as some sort of link on the main page.

One recent addition you missed is Sarah's contribution to the "Waves to Water" benefit "download" album. She contributed "When Another Midnight" (k-os edition)

Details were discussed in a previous thread;

The font on that cd is so hard to read though, it took me forever to find that.

The Love Song is one of the best tracks on that cd, but I think Dirty Water is even better! i love it.

Also, I am not positive on details but, Sarah is listed as the composer for the canadian documentary "(Un)sister". It was written and directed by Lisa Hall, and I get the impression it was an independent project. I am assuming the credits (as listed on IMDB) mean Sarah composed the music for the film, and not that she played a composer...
Anyway, I'm not sure whether this film has ever been mentioned on these boards, and I'm not quite sure what information is available on the project anyway...just another experience to her credit I'm sure!

First time I have heard of it but it seems to have been discoverd in this thread too.

Looks like this polish website credit's Sarah for it aswell.

It was part of the Kingston CDN film festival in 2003 entered as a short. I went wayback on the festival and pulled up this.

I actually have most of the things listed. :P I have a mental checklist of Slean stuff so I'm always on the lookout when I go music shopping.

Mother/Kids and the psychologist dude are the art prints.

I have the Kosova cd but I haven't listened to it so I don't know whether it's the Universe or Women & Songs version.

And the EP poster is the narrowish green one you're talking about.
