REALLY feeling this song right now. The piano work is just... well it's nothing short of brilliant. And the lyrics, it's funny how I always forget how wonderful and relevant these lyrics are. apathy will spread like wildfire.

~ If this is the car, that I must drive to the job, that I must keep for the house, and a man I don't love; count me out. ~

~ Sweet hope is glowing in your glorious eyes ~

Was my favourite song on Nightbugs right off the bat, I have to say...I love baseball expressions Smiler Didn't realize I used them a lot until just now. Well, in my head it's a baseball expression, maybe not...

Anyway, Weight, is a very good song...very intense and lots of depth, musically.

I have an ooooold recording of sarah from a c'est what gig back in 97 where she plays the best version of that song I've yet to hear. It's just her on the piano. It is so bass-rich and haunting just to hear the piano, let alone her voice or lyrics.

unfortunately I can't share it because it's on cassette tape. Sorry folks.

3 hours of cleaning the house??

what kind of crazy-ass parties are you having down there in pen-city snuff?

And, more importantly, why weren't we all invited???

It's possible to record onto computer from a casette tape -- I've done it before...you have to hook the tape deck into the 'input' jack of your sound card, and then use a wav recording program. Press record on tape deck, press record on program...watch the magic...then, of course, you'd have this gibungus wav file to compress into mp3 somehow...

Yeah but tape -> computer is bad quality!

I LOVE the song too! The bass is awesome! The song is awesome! It's one of those songs where you have to blast in your earphones and push the eatphones into your eats to get the full effect!
