I treat shows not listed on the sarahslean.com news or tour page as 'unconfirmed'. I will also consider confirmation via updates on this forum, myspace, warner, sarahslean.com news letter, etc.

I try to provide the information, sources, and some context so people can come to their own conclusions. Those posts will be made on this forum. Going forward I will not post unconfirmed shows to littleslean news, but I will announce when 'unconfirmed' show topics are hosted on this forum.

Although a show might be advertised, have ticket sales, and appear to be from repeatable promoter it still remain unconfirmed. See the Feb 2, 2007 Kingston Thread

Just got back from the concert and it was AMAZING! Just Sarah and her piano in a 300-person auditorium. I managed to get the front row seat directly in front of her piano Big Grin

She played several new songs from her upcoming CD, and a surprising number of older tunes.. St Francis, Universe, Me & Jerome, Eliot, Sweet Ones, Out in The Park, Duncan, Lucky Me, Pilgrim, California, Mary, a cover of Climbing the Walls and some unnamed 80s TV theme song. She was cracking jokes and talking about her time in Paris all night long. I wish I could go out to Calgary and see her there!

The new songs were awesome.

She also let us know that the new CD will be out in late January or Febuary.

Regards,

Fenian

I believe that the new songs were:

The Rose (a piece about what happens after death)

No Place At All (terribly sad, about being alone in a strange place, with no one to visit)

Compatriots- This one was indeed circus-sideshow baroque, just a wondeful fun song that is completely over the top

and Looking For Someone was the other new song.

And how could I forget, she started the night with John the 23rd.

Regards,

Fenian
