Hey everybody - Hi.
Just got tickets for the November 22nd Hamilton Show at the Hamilton Place Studio Theatre.

Apparently, you can't get tickets by phone with the Hamilton Place box office - only by phone with ticketmaster. You can get them in person at either Hamilton Place or Ticketmaster.

The guy at the box office said that the $20.50 tickets are general admission and the $24.50 tickets are tables (4 to a table). However, he thought that the table number would show on the purchasing screen as you were purchasing it. It didn't. Once you purchase it and print the actual ticket out, then you can see the seat number if you use TicketFast.

Just thought I'd let you all know.

^Thanks Evelyn,
Wish I looked at this forum post while I was purchasing.

I had spoken to the nice guy earlier in the morning where he thought I would be able to pick out my table/seats on TM.

As you explained it didn't work out that way and in panic I wasted time clicking on the out country retail pick up option and got really confused when Canada would not appear on the country list =p. TM by phone just put me in a loop, I will always strive to avoid that option.

Everything should have worked out well. Tables should be located front and center with GA around the perimeter. You can find out your actual table seat by looking at the physical ticket.

Only thing that I am scratching my head at is if you purchased 4 tickets, will they all be at the same table? Does the machine take that into consideration.... ?

Hmmmm... good question about whether or not you'll all be at the same table.
You said that you can see the actual table number on your ticket...On my ticket it lists a section (Flr 1), a row (1), and a seat (4) but not a table.
Oh well, I bought my tickets 2 minutes after they went on sale so it should be a great table.
I'll have to flip over to flkr so I can try to remember what you look like and say hi.

I picked up my tickets today, it indicates FLR 7 seats 1-4. I believe that translates to having table 7. Smiler

Miltongirl, I think you would be at table 1 with the first seat sold Smiler

It was a fantastic show and the new material is really great, the album is going to be fantastic!

^"Paris Swan" should be "Parasol" (that's how it's noted on Sarah's setlist. Smiler

Lots of new material last night was tested out.
* = first known public appearance (maybe played the night before in North Bay)

Drive - Cars cover that we first got to hear last year.

Looking For Someone - Still one of my favourite songs out of all the newer material.

*Liars and Cowards?
A very scornful track over another rocky relationship. The boy in questioned was named. My least favourite of all the newer material but it's rather catchy.

*Notes from the Underground
Pretty cool song, think Sarah described it as having to do with existentialism.

Sunny Side of the Street
Sarah had covered this before but it was really charming to hear her do it solo on the piano complete with a whistle solo.

Lonely Side of the Moon
Track she had played with the Art of Time ensemble. She has played it a few times since but yesterday she advised she only wrote the song a few days before the event!

Parasol -On the album it was recorded with a quartet. The Blue Spruce Quartet played it with Sarah at Harouborfront last year. It's the most lively song we have heard from the new material.

*The Right Words
I really think this song will strike a cord with all those shy people looking to find the right words (or to afraid to say them).

It was really nice to hear Sarah again. We had pretty great seats as did some of the other Passioneer's. The GA seats for the studio didn't look really good being casted so far over to the side. I don't think they were all filled. To me the show really took off after Weight. It was the first time I heard her play Angel since 2005, and again she cut the song short on forgetting the lyrics. The fault on Angel seemed to really inspire her on closing out Pilgrim as it sounded like the best rendition of that song I have ever heard.

notes from the underground? So somebody's been reading a little Dostoevsky, eh? Smiler
