i think some of you may have seen this before (i know i've probably mentioned it many, many times in the past at least), but back in 2002, i reviewed sarah's show at the guelph youth music centre for the guelph student newspaper, the ontarion.

i took a semi-lame photo of it and uploaded it here. pardon my writing skills that have since developed in the last three years and the horrid picture - the photo editor who developed my pictures somehow screwed up the negatives and had to make do with the results. :?

when i met sarah a few weeks later at the indigo instore, i gave her this clipping, so that was quite cool.

^ my editor suggested the "groupie" angle, not me! and since then, it's stuck. everyone always jokes that i'm a cuff the duke groupie/band aid/super fan. my one friend said, "aren't you their bloody publicist by now?" har har.

and the willow nickname also comes from the character on buffy who was kind of nerdy and awkward, but also cute and loveable. in high school, a lot of us were fans and one time when we were talking about the show, someone accidentally called me willow. she's my favourite character anyway, so it's fine by me.

i tell too many stories around here!

Buffy was the first reference that came to mind when I heard yer nickname. Come to think of it, I don't think I properly introduced myself at the concert, tho we were literally within arms reach of each other where we were standing. Red Faceops: It was nice meeting you, Wini. Smiler

Cheers.
