AOL Canada today announced the launch of AOL Music Canada (http://www.aol.ca/music), a new, free music channel featuring unique content, indie blogs, tunes, clips, previews and videos from today’s hottest artists and emerging Canadian stars.

More than 120 international stars from a variety of musical genres including hip hop, rock, pop and new country can currently be found online as part of AOL Sessions, a series of live, in-studio concerts and candid interviews designed to give music fans an up-close and intimate experience with their favourite musicians.

Canadian stars Bedouin Soundclash, Sarah Slean, Moneen and others will be featured in upcoming AOL Canada Music Sessions shot and produced in Toronto.

“Video may have killed the radio star, but nowadays the internet is quickly replacing music television thanks to the kind of content available at our just-launched AOL Music Canada channel,” said Joshua Ostroff, Music Editor, AOL Canada. “From exclusive and intimate live performances, to in-depth interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, AOL Music is helping to redefine what music lovers can find online.”

From what I recall AOL sessions are normally in studio like KCRW moring becomes, with no audience...

Good news, especially if it's a mixture of new songs and some of those orphan music bsides.

oh this is exciting! thanks for sharing it with us! i've seen one or two AOL sessions from the American ones and they're nice to watch/listen to.

I'm not sure if US IP address will be accepted watching the AOL Canada sessions, if such the case using a Canadian proxy server is normally a safe workaround.
