the song Get Home did remind me of another song but just when Sarah Slean says "get home"... i can't figure out which song it was. but anyways, i've listend to Sarah Slean's new song so many times it doesn't remind me of the song anymore... i guess until i hear the song again. lol.
Hmmm... Which part of "Get Home" reminds you of "Don't Dream, It's Over?"
To me, a more obvious one was the beginning of the verse in Sarah's Parasol/Sweet Virginia and the melody of the Habanera in Bizet's Carmen. I had always just assumed that it was a kind of tribute/incorporation of a well-known tune into the song.

In the CBC Q interview they bring this up with Sarah. She says she is a fan of Neil Finn and joked about the 'lift'. I don't think there was any attention.
