A short article just promoting the Peterborough show tonight:

Sarah should be Slean, not just heard Date: 2007-11-22 By Paul Rellingere
It's a long way from Pickering to concert halls around the globe but Sarah Slean has weathered that journey just fine, thanks for asking. The singer/songwriter, now working on a new album set for release next year, performs tonight (Friday), 8 p.m., at The Market Hall, 336 George St. N. Tickets cost $16 at Moondance and $17 at Showplace; $18 at the door. A classically-trained pianist as well as an accomplished visual artist and poet, Slean, 30, recorded her first album, Universe, at age 19. However, Sweet Ones, a piano-heavy pop tune on Night Bugs (2002), really caught the attention of music critics and the public alike. That same album, produced by Hawksley Workman, earned Slean a Best New Artist Juno Award nomination. Tonight's performance marks a return to The Market Hall for Slean who, in 2005, played to a sold-out house, enchanting her audience with her easy banter and musical mix of pop and cabaret.
She was better "slean" then heard for most of that particular show.
that wasn't offensive at all
It's true. I think I got some of my best pics of her during that set ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/cameronb/sets/638719/ ) but was not that exciting musically. Sarah stated in an interview something was off during that performance, she was right.
