Found this interview today that Sarah did in 2003 with student run NUTV in Calgary. The 2 minute clip features her playing Eliot in the background and Bank Accounts.

She talks about her dislike for the "women and songs" genre again, writing Nightbugs in the forest where the real night bugs kept her up, and the loss of rebelious poets?

Have a look

Cameron Bay.

This interview is nicely done and well put-together!

Though there wasn't much said that I haven't read in other interviews, it is definitely worth watching.

And... uh... that is [i:9ea9785b36]some[/i:9ea9785b36] shirt.

` I wanna be the bluebird singing
Singing to the roses in her yard
Roses in her yard her father grew for her
It's been raining like Tennessee honey
So long I got too heavy to fly
Ain't no bluebird ever gets too heavy to sing `

thanks,
the last 2 days have been good on the google side of things.

nik, i didn't even notice the shirt. perv

Was the info about where she recorded night bugs known before? Maybe i should read the album info on littleslean. I could see that's where the inspiration for St.Francis may have come from.

eye interview she goes over about recording in bearsville. the only song to be written on the spot and out in the woods was Book Smart, Street Stupid. She credits the Scotch she drank for that one =p

COME ON people!!! Red Face hehe... is it even a "shirt"??? Oi! I have never seen her wear anything like that. And you can totally tell she was enjoying it because she has the shoulder all pulled down in the interview part but not when she's at the piano.

call me pervy pervertson if you must but I just said first what you were already thinking.

I'm pretty sure this is the same shirt... but used as an [i:9042e4d5df]accent[/i:9042e4d5df] to another shirt (or is it a dress)... Red Face

And where is she? It looks like a greyhound bus or something.

The poets let a generation down, and modern music can be the healing sound......

It's interesting that she attributes her 'getting started' to the OLP incident.
