All I got so far is:

Sondre Lerche - his fourth album comes out next month. His last was a jazz-type and it seems this one is going to be more rock/alternative compared to his first two, which were quite good. I'm hoping this one will be as good but I'm not so sure. Looking forward to it anyway.

Jann Arden - not sure when this comes out but I like 'Bring The Boys Home'. Her CD is all covers except for one song. It should be neat.

Avril Lavigne - Yeah. I like Avril's music for the most part. Not sure if I'll like her new CD based on how she describes it but we'll see.

David Usher - His fifth solo CD comes out within the next few months. I hope it's more computer-sounding a la 'Hallucinations' then 'If God Had Curves'.

Tegan and Sara - sometime this year. I'm HOPING!

That's all I have so far.

"And now I think I'll get through..."

Massive Attack has a new album slated for early this year. Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star) has done some vocals for it.
[edit]According to her site, it's scheduled for February and it will be called Weather Underground.
[edit 2]It's now coming out "sometime" in 2007 and the title will likely change before its release.

Portishead is also working on a new album, although I'm not sure when exactly it's supposed to be released.

Also, Lindi's new album will be out very very soon... Wink

I'm looking forward to Lindi's new album, for sure, as well as new releases from Fozzy and Dream Theater (most likely). I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but I'm sure I will once I've already posted this. :P

Interpol's third album (after a very, very long break) is finally coming out this year. Probably around the summertime. Unbelievably excited!

I like all 3 of those artists. It's been too long for Portishead. Last Massive Attack album I heard was 100th Window but I presume they have had a title or 2 since then. Got Lindi's album on Friday.

Neon Bible is an excellent album. Not sure what format I will buy... cd... cd with 32 page book created by the band or 2 disc vinyl.

Has Feist been playing new material from her upcoming album? I would love to hear what's coming down the line from her.

Neon Bible is excellent indeed! and Cam i've been seeing a lot of you lately on the ukk too!

the only "new" songs from her album that i know she's already played live is "so sorry," "sea lion woman," and "honey honey"
then after those 3 i'm not so sure]

edit: oh yeah, and "1 2 3 4", because apparently that's the same as "sally's song"

edit: erm..yeah or you can just look at the 2nd most recent post on www.allthingsfeist.com

He also has an animated video on myspace that he made. Might be new news if you were not one of over a million people to view it!

^^that explains things. It came up at random following another video I watched.

Broken Social Scene videos get some nice placements on YouTube. They have huge numbers.
Arts and Crafts have a few albums coming down the line.

Vito, I saw you on UKK today and new your name looked familuar. Lots of names on that forum cross over from other corners of the net. Smiler

On the note of Feist, I have heard a couple of those songs. I hear the album has been leaked, but I have not seeked it. I did get tickets to her show Smiler

I got Lindi's album but have been mostly skipping through it. I like Oh Dear.

Feist's new album is really really good. A much better album than let it die in the way it was recorded. May 16th I'll get to see her live!

I'm going to the Feist show too. What seats did you get? By the time I bought tickets, all the good orchestra seats were gone. Confused I ended up taking front row balcony.

I really like Lindi's new album. Oh Dear is a really good song. Drift and Under Your Radar are my favourites.
