There's also a way you can 'audition' (by sending a CD) to have your music added to their collection, which is a REALLY cool way of getting your stuff out there. I hope for the sake of good music that this is the way of the future... just hope it doesn't get corporate-greeded into sponsorship or non-existance -- fortunately they have licenses, so that's good!

PS E-mailing them is a great way to get people added... I just e-mailed them and heard back from them within 5 minutes!!! Really positive comments too:

"Thanks so much for your kind words - I'm really glad you're enjoying the service so much.

Thanks also for the suggestions - we'll have a listen to those artists. We just got back from the CMJ conference in New York. Tons of great Canadian bands. You guys are rockin' the indie world these days!"

I am in LOVE with this. I don't want to leave the apartment anymore. I could sit here forever and ever and ever.

I'm training it to play dance music, but it's not working that great so far... probably b/c there's not much 'unknown' dance music. Though I did discover Puffy AmiYumi, some random Japanese pop girls. That was fun.

Somehow Stars came up in the 'station' I was trying to train to dance music. The only artists I entered were Madonna, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, and Spice Girls.

I gave OK Go a 'thumbs up' and some really random (and BAD) indie rock the thumbs down....

I know Stars (particularly this song, Ageless Beauty) are pop-ish but how unusually that they be associated with this stuff. Oh well. I still hav eto say this is so incredibly �ber-fun. I need to go back to the station where I have *all* the artists I like rather than just the dance-y ones, there's so much great stuff out there!

haha... last night... neal and I were going INSANE... messaging back and forth what was currently playing on our stations.

I have managed to get now 5 other people addicted... its absolutely awesome!!

I got a song called Johnny, Are You Queer? by a girl called Josie Cotton last night whcih was just delightful.

Apparently Nicole and I have been telling too many people, because they've now limited the free trial to one hour per day (still up to 10 hours total though) due to 'overwhelming demand'. I subscribed to get around that

hehe... it was TOTALLY us cause last night I was on it for more than 3 hours.

and yep... I just subscribed too. $12 for 3 months is nothing.
