lol no worries. a lot of people don't like it, and i can get why. its an anthem for the 90's generation. kurt was our jfk. 'where were you when you heard that kurt died?' he was an icon and is now a legend and so many people have a strong connection to him and his work.
but i enjoy it.

I agree about Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt". His cover of U2's "One" is also good. I also love Dream Theater's covers of Tori Amos' "Winter" and Rush's "Tears".

I've only heard their cover of Superstition. I saw them live twice but they didn't do any covers Frowner ... but i'm curious about this "HIM" you've mentioned.

Big Bang Baby is pretty good. I also liked her cover of Song 3. I keep forgetting to look for that CD at the store. It sounds like a good one.

I completely forgot about "One". There's some others that I probably missed by Cash. He was really amazing with doing covers.

hehe, I love covers...I love hearing how the artist makes the song thier own (or doesn't lol) I'm new to this particular forum but if you get to know me, you'll find out that I'm a big goo goo dolls fan (although I know not many people like them anymore  but that's okay with me) Anyway, they've recently done Give A Little Bit by Supertramp...I think it's awesome Big Grin, other covers I really like are the Cranberries doing Patsy Cline's Crazy and Fleetwood Mac's Go Your Own Way, Damien Rice w/ Lisa Hannigan doing Nina Simone's Be My Husband, and I don't know if it's considered a cover, lol I have no idea who wrote the song, You Are My Sunshine (I think that's what it's called) Sarah McLachlan did that live in August at the Molson Amphitheatre, it was so beautiful Big Grin

I was at that show too! It was quite a surprise. Do you remember what song it led into? I can't recall. I'm dying for the dvd of the concert to come out.

Now wouldn't it be just wicked if Slean and McLachlan had a concert together?

Cheers.
