Who has Chantal Kreviazuk's "Ghost Stories"? Is it any good? There is no release date in the U.S. though.

I have a copy because I'm a big Chantal fan. However this album doesn't really settle with me. It's too awkward for me, I'm not sure if I can explain it. I think there should be a rule in regards to letting your spouse write/produce etc. your entire record lol ... there are a few good songs definitely, but I will always be a big fan of Underneath These Rocks and Stones before anything else..

I love the new album. I honestly wasn't expecting to like it much considering all that Chantal has done since the last album but she really impressed me with the CD. There isn't really a song on here that I don't like ('all i can do' really isn't my favourite single from her and is definately my least favourite track on here). The strings are incredible. My favourite song would have to be 'Asylum' or 'So Cold'. I'm so glad she took a different approach to the new album and didn't make just another pop CD. Kudos to Chantal! A+

I finally got 'Ghost Stories' last week and I am really impressed. At first I was very unsure (especially since she's doing something different with her voice), but it's been in my player nonstop since I got it.

Favorite tracks - Asylum, So Cold, Ghosts of You, and Wendy House. Wendy House kills me every time! That piano thing at the end ... I always get goosebumps when I hear it. Actually, I'm getting goosebumps just thinking of it!

Gotta listen to that track!

Actually, one thing that impresses me about Chantal (and I've seen this on her albums and live performances) is her piano playing ... she is amazing on the keys and I would pay good money just to sit and watch her play.

I heard her do 'God Made Me' solely on the piano and it gave me shivers.

I sold Chantal a monopoly board once, years ago, right after her first album came out and just before she got big and famous.

Lucky! LOL!

She's coming in February. I can't wait to hear her new material live. I still can't get enough of 'Ghost Stories' and it's been two months.
