Hey guys, I wrote and recorded a song called 'Inside; Outside' and while I'm not sure if I wanna give out the mp3 of it yet, I'll post the lyrics for your guys' input and comments and whatnot! I'm curious as to what people besides me think.

Well, I was way off base on the "thrash metal" sound I imagined supporting Max' lyrics. Although I still think that would be a pretty cool arrangement for the the lyrics/message.

Having said that, Max was kind enough to send me a copy.

Nicely done max....its not exactly an uplifting mood, but then again, its not meant to be. You set the sombre tone well and i felt the underlying thread of anger bubbling & building throughout the song.

Overall I was impressed....and will give it some more plays - it strikes me as one of those tunes that you need to let seep in through your skin a bit.

The song itself is about how you think you know someone but they don't protray themselves in the good way you think you know them as. Basically people that put on a face for others and also in a sense how we ourselves do it as well and as a result we do things we wouldn't expect ourselves to do in normal circumstances. Pretty much how people in general cover up who they are for others.
