For those that haven't seen Dayna live .. I recommend it. Truly enjoyable. I'm gonna try to make it to tomorrow's show .. maybe I'll see some of you there. She has a few other shows including one with Jeremy Fisher at some point.

Wow. She's got quiet the talented collection of friends!! I've seen Blair and Kevin before and both are quite talented. Kevin plays cello (and other instruments!) for Shaye currently, and formerly for Sarah

Blair Packham is sick so in his place will be Jon Levine of the Philosopher Kings. ARGH now I so want to go to tomorrow's show but I've got a midterm to write.

And is it still possible to be "of the Philosopher Kings"?? I thought they broke up?

The e-mail said "Philsopher Kings' Jon Levine" but if they broke up it could just be referring to that he simply was from the band, and nothing more meant by it?

Show kicked butt except Jon Levine didn't show because he fell ill as well. I think J. Englishman sounds way better live than from his cd. Was a very good night, o yeeeeeah. Now I must study like mad tomorrow (well, technically today). xx.

J Englishman was a huge surprise. The guy has an outstanding voice and is really good on the guitar. He was very entertaining.

Dan, a very tall man that sat crunched up on a stool was very ackward to watch. All his songs were played and sang the same way and most were inspired by tv shows, 1 being a documentary on jelly fish.

Dayna, was great. she's incredibly hot and seemed very sweet. her songs sounded a bit like old Jewel sang with a bit of a country trang. On piano she was more of a fire cracker. When she was going to do a cover of britney spears Hit Me Baby i thought she was doing it more as a joke but the way her voice sang it, it sounded really good.

I'm a maybe for seeing her next week.

Ooh I wanna hear this Baby One More Time cover!!! That's an oft-covered song, by SO many different styles of artist. I've heard (of) covers by various punk bands, Crash Test Dummies, and now apparently Dayna Manning!

it has been covered a lot. i was a backup dancer for my friend covering it for a few tallent shows. i dont think he knew how to play guitar but we just got it done. i have a hardcore/gabba version of it done by a canadian dj (forget the name). it's excellent as it twists the words of 'hit me baby one more time' to a more agressive line then even 'smack my bit*h up' is. inspectore vector is the name i would like to say.

I just got a Danny Michel update and he will be playing the Rivoli on June 17 with Dayna Manning as a guest.

I�m gonna be there for Danny of course... but I expect I might see some of you Dayna Manning fans there????
