I just learned that Sarah will be one of the panelists on The National Playlist everyday next week. The show airs at 11:30am Monday to Friday on Radio One so be sure to tune in and hear Sarah chat music with other Canadian music buffs.

This was the first time I heard this song. Only Jolene I knew was the Dolly Parton and later covered by the White Stripes.

The song choice of the Gorilza's was not my favourite. I like electronic music, but that was one particular song I didn't care very much for. I would take half the songs on the Chemical Brother's first 2 albums to make it.

For those of you that missed it today. Remember that with the timezones across Canada you have 3 chances to catch it online. A last chance.

I was going to post about the timezones too when I saw boywonder and flare post that they had missed it about an hour before it was broadcast in Vancouver.

I've done some research, and found out
Atlantic: GMT-4
Eastern: GMT-5
Central: GMT-6
Mountain: GMT-7
Pacific: GMT-8

As the show is broadcast at 11:30am local time (noon in Newfoundland), there should be five opprutunities to catch it online (over a duration of five hours).

The only Jolene song I know it the one from Sloan (and I don't think its even called Jolene)

Today's show was great! I loved Sarah's little attack on Natalie Imbruglia in her criticism of the Beach Boys' tune "God Only Knows." I laughed out loud.

Tomorrow Sarah pitches her second tune. It's her all time pick.....maybe Radiohead??
