Tonight on CTV's Etalk Daily, they showed what seemed like a video for Mary while rolling the show's credits. The hosts said something like [i:0f082e8f42]"and we'll leave you with the newest from Sarah Slean.. Mary"[/i:0f082e8f42]. It was a very short clip, no more than 20 seconds. The video was in the same style as the Day One video.... a combination of live action/real video and animation of Sarah's art. I think this is what it was like... but I wasn't playing as close attention as I should have been. ops: I'm not sure if it was a real music video, or just some sort of promo. hmmm...

The show will be repeating tonight (early Thursday morning) at 12:38 AM (ET) on CTV!!

lol I got a preview of this from flare on MSN but OMG!? Let's hope it's an actual video. ANd let's hope someone starts playing this darn song! *crosses fingers*

I just watched the show summary at the start and they didn't mention it at all. A quick addition?

Wow so that was totally worth staying up for, however it SUCKS that it was only about 10 seconds long. Definitely looked like a new video though... kinda Day One -ish but with a flare for history. Anyone know what the heck this is about?!

The clip they showed was actually just shy of 20 seconds.

The 3 scenes shown in it were as follows:
1. Mary looking out the window. Hard to say if she's on the boat or looking out her window to the boat.

2. Sarah in a framed like painting playing an air harp. The way the vines like images grow in the background was also used in the Day One video.

3. A large picture of Sarah's head with a ghost train flying into it. The flowing hair is simular to the Day One video when she receivs the locket in her hand.

Very interesting!! Wondering if it's by the same dude that made the Day One video. I can see how there are similarities between the two. But there are subtle differences in terms of style, such that, the imagery and motion of Sarah in [i:3a6195b42c]Mary[/i:3a6195b42c] (tho too short to really tell) doesn't feel as flat as those in [i:3a6195b42c]Day One[/i:3a6195b42c]. I hope it gets played a lot more soon.

Looks great, hopefully it gets plenty of airtime. From the little I've seen, the animation in this one does look better than Day One.

Exactly!! How come there is suddenly a video for Mary and we have not heard a word about it? I IM'ed Neal when I saw ETalk to ask him about it 'cause I thought maybe I'd missed something, here's how it went (hope he doesn't mind me posting it...but it was really funny!):

hehe. yeah, it�s pretty darn annoying that we have to discover these things ourselves. I mean, they don�t have to tell us about EVER single interview she does... but major things like videos and tv appearances could be nice.

Though usually during the downtime between the end of promotion/tour for an album and the release of the next album management teams tend to let websites go to pot and then relaunch them in an extravagant manner to promote the new album. Hopefully that doesnt' happen here, especially with new concerts going on, and apparently a new video!!! Cathy are you out there? Any news on this video? Can we see it anywhere in its entirety???
