Hi all, I just thought that I would let you know that the video for weight can be seen on MTV.ca . Just click on search for video and type in Slean and the link should pop up. An interesting early video by Miss Slean.

wow. I had only heard of this video but I had never seen it. It's really not how I would have pictured it to be. It seems almost cheery, while the song seems heavier. Thanks for the link!

The video won't work for me... the site says it won't work if you have windows 95 or 98 (I have win98).

The video is pretty neat. Simple but still cool! It's from the original 'Weight' so it was probably done in 1998/99? So that means it was probably her first music video whereas 'High' was the second?

It's an interesting video. Seems like Ms. Slean has become more comfortable with movement while singing over the years (looks a little awkward in the video)

I cannot see the video for "Weight" because it is NOT authorized for the U.S..

Oh my you can smell her fear in the video! Never how I would have pictured a video for it, though I love the scene where she is on the piano with all the glowing lights. Most certainly she has become more aware of her body and sensuality versus that early video. I loved the video 'High' though from the same era.. strange the differences (presence wise) between the two -- she seemed more at home in the 'High' video.


Completely shallow side point -- how cute was her little mushroom cut bob?

The requirements to watch videos on MTV Overdrive are rather difficult. The videos are protected under Windows Digital RIght Management.

I enjoyed the video for Weight. When I used to listen to the song on the bus I would imagine her going under water. Sad that it appears as a pool and not an ocean.

Sarah looks really young in that video and those blue eyes light up the screen.

This video is awesome. What an amazing find. If anyone knows how to capture, it would be greatly appreciated. I miss the days when videos were GOOD like this! Even the 'amateur' videos were great. *sigh* those were the days.

it still won't work for me...that link just brings me to the mtv overdrive page and swollen members play...how do i SEARCH for sarah's video? this is so frustrating! LOL

Okay: On the left of the right "column", under "PLAY ALL", it says in really faint grey words, "Start your search here". You click on that and you can type in whatever you want to search- in this case, 'Slean' should do it. Then you press enter, or click on the "SEARCH" word on the far right, past the "any words" and "all words" graphics.

The results will show up and where it says "Search Results for music Videos", click "See more". Then the video for Weight will show up, and then you press play!

After the London show I mentioned to Sarah that some of us have finaly been able to see this video. The news was new to her and she slightly embarassed.

She advised how the video was done when she was around 19 with an aproximate budget of $3,000.

I don't think action will be taken to have it removed...atleast I hope not.
