LOL I highly doubt this counts but I'm posting it anyways... Just heard an ad on the Mix for the upcoming Toronto show, most of it was promoting Ron, but it also mentioned "Special Guest" Sarah Slean and "Get [Rons' album] and Sarah Slean - Day One, just 2 for 25 at HMV" lol

Well, since my daughter's co-opted my original copy of Day One (not to mention getting Sarah to sign it to her) I went shopping for a new copy today. Ended up @ HMV and bought the 2 for $25 Sexsmith/Slean combo!....

Also picked up the new Rufus CD - listening to it as i type this....wow, what an opening track. More later on that...I've got some serious listening to do the next couple of days...

They changed/added new ads!!!
It's now "Sarah Slean, in concert with Ron Sexsmith" and the entire commercial is dedicated to Sarah, Day One, and Lucky Me plays in the background the whole time!
Ron got a brief mention at the end! hehe yay!! I don't think I've ever heard an actual commercial for Sarah alone! Yay the Mix!

Alright I'm gonna continue to talk to myself in this post, just for fun. I just heard the ad again. This time, however, it was on CHUM FM. Funny, CHUM FM doesn't play Lucky Me. It's not even on the list of songs you can request on their website. Grr.

maybe the fact that they changed it to sarah in concert with ron came after yet another crowd encored the great sarah slean, and let ron just walk off the stage...i like rons stuff, but choosing an opener like sarahy, you have to be FLAWLESS after, and he's definately not!

HMm.... that's been true of SOME shows, especially the London show ("Mom! They screamed for me in London!")... but tonight's show was definitely NOT dominated by Slean fans. boo
