Giller Prize Awards : Sarah has been chosen to present on CTV's live broadcast of this year's much lauded Giller Prize Awards this November 8th. The Giller is Canada's most prestigious literary award. She will be presenting the Jury Award near the end of the show. If you miss the Tuesday's show it will re-air on Wednesday November 9th at 2:00 and Saturday November 12th at 3:00. The Giller Prize web site lists the nominees.

Sarah had a short few lines as she introduced the jurry.
She had on a red strapless dress with a matching necklace and ruby red earings. It's not the same dress from the junos, it might be a new one.

She looked very lovely.

I thought the same thing....she looks like she does in some of the older pictures from like...1999

her hair style, clothes and jewelry are exactly what my students wear. Rich Mexican teenage girls are fashionable though. :?

The expression on her face is very youthful too.

OK, I finally watched my tape of this and I am HORRIFIED.

Only CTV could take something as beautiful and positive as the Giller Prize, slap on a big corporate sponsor, throw in Ben Mulroney (what would this guy do for a living without CTV?), and turn the whole thing into a farcical reality show?

They took a fucking Internet poll during the show! And they had Ben Mulroney and some other person reporting live from a local pub where people were watching the proceedings on television (OK, the proceeds from that went to charity, but still). The whole setup was ripped directly from an episode of Canadian Idol, and the whole night featured CTV personalities coming out of everyone's ears. Ugh. I'm so offended right now.

I agree Neal. As nice as some of the show was, the whole Pub thing seemed really distasteful. Ben Mulroney shouldn't be at every single freaking event, that guy drives me nuts.

Depending on the time zone, you might not have missed it yet... the times I posted were EST. Also, she's in the last half-hour, so you only missed it by about 45 minutes lol. She introduces the jury very shortly before they announce the winners.
