Just heard an ad on CHUM FM [with Mary remix playing in the background]:

I found it especially amusing that it was voiced by a CHUM FM personality, considering they never played the "Top 20 hit" Lucky Me. But still, exciting. It's strange that this album was almost abandoned and now *poof* it's getting played all the time and there is promo and she's playing radio station concerts and everything! woohoo


On that note though -- anyone seen this Time Magazine thing?!?!?

Since Sarah's Canadian and so is CHUM, I would have thought they'd want to say what Maclean's mag or the Toronto Star, etc. has to say about her.

Weird, very weird. Time probably holds more international clout though. Good find... unfortunate that the article is like a year old though, oh well

I sorta remember something in TIME magazine, but i certainly don't remember this lengthy article.

Also, funny that when i walked in this morning a co-worker comes up to mean and says, "hey, jim - i just heard that sarah slean singer you love was named best canadian singer or something like that by TIME"

hehe - i immediately googled it and found the same article Flare posted.

I guess he heard the same promo.

Much More Music played one of their little promo things with video clips in it with Lucky Me in the background about 6 times while I was watching..

I heard Lucky Me on the radio two days ago, too. Interesting.
